The Cook County medical examiner's office reported Cordero Fuentes of Harvey and Jaden Miller-Stone of Calumet City were shot to death in separate homicides.
Homicides were reported this past week in Chicago Heights and Harvey, and a Riverdale man was shot to death this week in Chicago, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
In Harvey, 41-year-old Cordero Fuentes suffered a gunshot wound at his home in the 300 block of West 150th Street, according to the medical examiner’s office. It was not clear whether he was shot inside or outside his home.He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:44 a.m. Tuesday, and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the office.
In Calumet City, a Hammond, Indiana, man died early in the morning of Aug. 18 after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the 300 block of Paxton Avenue, according to the medical examiner’s office.
