Chilliwack RCMP were called to the 45700-block of Alexander Avenue around 6:30 a.m. for a report of a man suffering from gunshot wounds.IHIT doesn’t believe Sunday’s murder was a random act.“We are fortunate that no one else was hurt as a result of this careless act,” said Cpl. Frank Jang of IHIT. “IHIT will be aggressively pushing forward on its investigative avenues and we are looking to the community to partner with us in solving this murder.
In 2016, his brother Curtis Vidal, a long-time gang associate, was sentenced to eight years in prison after being convicted in a violent 2013 home invasion robbery in Chilliwack.
