City facilities are closed until Tuesday morning, but both marinas are open
The following city facilities and services will be closed on Monday July 3 for the Canada Day statutory holiday:
Garbage & Recycling Collection In lieu of the holiday falling on the weekend, there will be no garbage, leaf and yard waste or recycling pickup on Monday July 3. Collection will be bumped one day later to Tuesday July 4. The City’s landfill will be closed July 1 to 3 and will reopen July 4 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Same goes for the Household Hazardous Waste Depot.

Transit Services Although there was no regular transit service on Saturday July 1, operations will be back to normal today.Public Libraries James L. McIntyre Centennial and North Branch Library will be closed today, reopening July 4.
Marine Facilities Outdoor pools/Splash Pad The Peter G. Manzo and V.E. Greco pools are open from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
