Lindy Ruff, the Devils’ wily, white-haired coach, was asked about everything from his mood to his blood pressure.
“Blood pressure? I take blood pressure medicine!” he said before allowing himself the longest, loudest laugh he had let loose in public since the Stanley Cup playoffs commenced a fortnight earlier. “Oh, God. You have to be able to laugh and have a smile. I think the idea is to keep these guys loose.”
