William P. Hobby Airport in Houston is closed after officials said two private jets clipped their wings as they were moving on the airfield. FAA investigates after Alaska Airlines flight steers into SkyWest plane's path

According to officials with the Federal Aviation Administration, a twin engine Hawker H25B departed without permission from runway 22 when it collided with a twin-engine Cessna C510 that was landing on Runway 13 Right. Then the Cessna C510 taxied to the ramp area. Officials said the number of people on board the two aircraft has not been determined.

Airport officials said, "As we work with our federal partners to safely remove the debris from the airfield and restore operations, please check the status of your flight with your air carrier. Flight diversions and cancelations are possible."
