PICTON, ONT. — Major plans and partnerships are underway for a project in Prince Edward County coined Base31, which is comprised of a 750-acre neighbourhood plan.

PEC Community Partners purchased the former historic Second World War air training base in Picton in December 2021 alongside 680-acres of greenspace surrounding the site, a release reads. The site will continue to be developed over the coming years, with a continued focus on culture and food.
