Duff took to Instagram Friday night to express her concerns that Disney's family-friendly streaming service may limit the journey of her adult character on the reboot.
Duff's request comes days after the LBGTQ inclusive series"Love, Victor," inspired by the 2018 film "Love, Simon," was moved from Disney+ to Hulu over its mature content.
On Wednesday, the actress shared a screenshot on her Instagram Story of an article titled,"'Love, Simon' TV Show Pulled From Disney+ as It's Not 'Family Friendly.'" Duff wrote alongside the article,"Sounds familiar," according toThe"Lizzie McGuire" revival is set to feature original cast members Hallie Todd , Robert Carradine and Jake Thomas .
