DAVID MUNDEE The regular-season phase is now over for Alabama High School Athletic Association volleyball teams.
Postseason area tournaments are set for the upcoming week with tourneys scattered from Tuesday through Thursday at the site of area regular-season winners. The top four finishing teams in each classification at the regional tournament advance to the AHSAA State Tournament at the Birmingham Crossplex/Bill Harris Arena on Oct. 29-31, seeking to win a state title.
