EXCLUSIVE: PC Mark Coteman (pictured) and PC Oliver Austin, from Cambridgeshire Constabulary, were found guilty of gross misconduct during a hearing this week.
A 'hero' police officer has been sacked and a second given a final warning over vile racist and misogynistic texts which included references to Jimmy Savile and Katie Price 's disabled son Harvey.
The pair exchanged messages, sent between July and December 2022, which made fun of people with disabilities, as well as others that were racist and misogynistic. Coteman pleaded guilty to all three charges on 16 April and is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday for sentencing. Then on September 3, he sent his colleague a video which showed a man with severe disabilities working out. During the exercise, a resistance band snaps and hits the man in the face.Just over two weeks later on September 19, the hearing heard Coteman sent another video that had been recorded in a police station and showed an officer working. A voiceover during the clip said: 'Never thought I would enjoy working with a mentally handicapped co-worker until I met you.

'In this case harm has been caused to the reputation of the Constabulary, the police service and importantly it has dented the trust and confidence that the public have in police.
