Hernandez leads dominant performance by The Woodlands over Westfield
Hernandez scored two beautiful goals in the 2nd and 9th minute, respectively.
“I saw it coming in and I just closed my eyes,” Hernandez said. “I didn’t see the keeper. I just went for it. I had to get low.” “That was certainly a good way to start the match,” Fanning said. “He had been getting lots of opportunities, but just not clicking. It was really nice to see him go off tonight.”
With the 3-0 lead, The Woodlands was in very good shape as Westfield had struggled all regular season with 17 total goals, an average of 0.9 goals per game.
