Re-entering the world post-breakup is never an easy feat. But that awkward and sometimes daring experience is what Hulu is deciding to bring to the small screen in their newest seriesThe series stars Kat Dennings who plays Jules — a young woman, whom after getting dumped by her longtime boyfriend, “must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind” reads the show’s official synopsis.
“Female friendships have been my longest love relationships. I’m not sure the whole ‘squad’ thing applies to me, I’m more of a one-on-one type of person,” said Kat. “I think however you connect with your friends, regardless of what you’re told is normal and right, is the best way. As I’ve gotten older I’ve tried to make time with friends even more of a priority … it’s easy to take your pals for granted.”has been ordered for a ten-episode first season — set to premiere November 18th on Hulu.
