Electrify America to build fast chargers in the Port of Long Beach, California, for one of the largest EV truck fleets of its type.Electrify America will install 30 fast chargers for electric drayage trucks in the Port of Long Beach, California, as part of its Green Cities investment.

We hear a lot about the progress being made by EV charging station builders to provide coverage to remote towns in the west and along major interstate routes, allowing for easier coast-to-coast travel for electric car owners. The 30 chargers slated to be installed by Electrify America will offer 150- and 350-kW charging speeds, and will also feature batteries to store power when electricity costs are at their lowest in a 24-hour cycle, vending it out during peak hours to minimize stress on the grid.
