Previously, Collin County cities — including Allen — had access to the Texas National Electronic Disease Surveillance System. Collin County made these data available to cities such as Allen.Allen’s dashboard now gets its data from the state Department of Health and Human Servicesand the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.no longer has any city-level data, including recovered and confirmed cases since March 2020, active cases or daily new cases.

The dashboard also no longer has active cases or recovered cases since March 2020 at the county-level. It still shows daily new cases at the county level.Dashboard users might notice a could see a “slight, one-time discrepancy in county COVID-19 cases” this week, authorities said. This is because the systems define and tabulate COVID-19 cases differently.
