Local governments and partners in Northern Virginia launched an aid program today to collect coats, blankets, socks and gloves for Ukrainian refugees who have had to abandon their homes because of the war.

Local governments and partners in Northern Virginia have launched an aid program to collect new or gently used coats, and new blankets, socks and gloves for Ukrainian refugees who have had to abandon their homes because of the war. The campaign starts March 23, and the deadline to donate is April 15. Drop-off locations include the region’s public libraries, government buildings and community centers.
