Houston has two Martin Luther King Jr. Day parades. Here's how to watch them.

The co-grand marshals are: Dr. Camille Cash, a plastic surgeon; Rev. Dr. Derek King, nephew of Martin Luther King, Jr.; and John W. Bland, who is being honored posthumously. That parade will air on KHOU and feature marching bands from Texas Southern University, the University of Houston, and Rice University, as well as 14 floats. The route is available on the heritage society's, meanwhile, will begin at 10 a.m. at San Jacinto and Elgin in Midtown. Its honorees include rapper Trae tha Truth and mayoral candidate Amanda Edwards, a former city council member.dylan.mcguinness@chron.
