At the end of the day, he returned home to a double-wide trailer on the west end of town, where he lived with his wife Susan.Two pensions and a million-dollar home add up to a comfortable—if not extravagant—life for the former governor.
Hutchinson campaigned with his former boss, then-President George W. Bush, in a losing bid for the Arkansas governorship in 2006.The Republicans failed to oust Clinton, but they took the White House in 2001, when George W. Bush came to power. Bush appointed Hutchinson to serve as administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration, then undersecretary of homeland security.
