Former Gov. Chris Christie made the comments as he considers running for president again.
“You better have somebody on that stage who can do to what I did to Marco because that’s the only thing that’s going to defeat Donald Trump,” he said. “And that means you’ve got to have the skill to do it. And that means you have to be fearless, because he will come right back at you.”

He kept to that thought Monday, saying June is probably “the latest” you can take to decide because there is a debate in august.So far,Trump wasn’t the only possible 2024 Republican rival Christie went after.Christie said DeSantis should show more support for the country against Russia.A DeSantis spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Washington Post, according to the paper’s report.
