There are a number of changes to note within the employment, workforce development, and official languages ministerial team, most of which pre-date Randy Boissonnault’s Nov. 20 exit from cabinet, with one that’s happened since Veterans Affairs Minister Ginette Petitpas Taylor took charge of the file. The following is a moment-in-time look at the employment team, which is still in transition post shuffle.

In another pre-shuffle change, senior Ontario regional affairs adviser Madeleine Wieler now wears the title of deputy director of policy. Annie Berger is a senior policy adviser. Photograph courtesy of LinkedIn Wieler first joined the employment team under then-minister Qualtrough as an Ontario regional adviser focused on the Greater Toronto Area in the fall of 2022, and stayed on as senior adviser after Boissonnault took charge of the file in July 2023.
