There's a GoFundMe for the mother and kids who suffered life-threatening injuries after a stolen pickup truck slammed into them at high speed in Brampton
You might have seen the news stories about a devastating hit-and-run crash in Brampton that involved a stolen pickup truck and left several people — including two kids — with life-threatening injuries. Among those people are my cousin Samantha Ritchie and her two beautiful kids, Nixon and Rocquel, and they need help.
Sam is in hospital with extensive injuries including many fractures and a concussion. Her 8-year-old son Nixon suffered broken ribs and is currently in a medically induced coma. Her 12-year-old daughter Rocquel is also in hospital with major injuries. They have all undergone surgeries, and there are almost certainly more to come. Tragically their beloved rescue dog Finnegan did not survive the crash.
