Hellraiser is getting a remake and we don’t know whether to be excited or terrified
Clive Barker’s iconic 1987 horror movie Hellraiser is getting a reboot, with The Dark Knight’s David S Goyer on board to write and produce.
While no one has been cast in the movie yet, the new version is said to be a ‘loyal, yet evolved re-imagining’ of the original, meaning we can expect to see the likes of Chatterer and Butterball back on our screens. It tells the story of Frank, who accidentally opens a portal to hell. Obviously, this invites a group of horrifying creatures – known as Cenobites – into the real world who proceed to rip Frank limb from limb.We’re not saying he deserved it, but that’s only because we’re scared of him.When Frank’s brother and his family move into his old house, they accidentally bring most of him back to life.
