. NWSSanAntonio has issued a Flash Flood Warning for WilliamsonCounty until 4:30 p.m.
The rain and storms will start in the Hill Country this morning. As the front gets closer, the upper low in West Texas will feed it energy and moisture to get round two of the storms going near the Austin metro by midday.
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Williamson County. The National Weather Service says between one to three inches have fallen and additional rainfall amounts of one to three inches are possible. Officials say flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses is possible. Some locations that could experience flash flooding include Georgetown, Leander, Liberty Hill, and Jarrell.Video from Aly Kerr of rain falling in her backyard at her home in Round Rock.The severe weather threat will remain low but can't rule out localized flooding. There's a slight risk of localized flooding in low-lying areas.
