Breaking: Heavy law enforcement presence reported at Dallas County Health and Human Services
A large police presence was reported at the Dallas County Health and Human Services building near downtown Thursday afternoon.the building is on lockdown and the cause is being investigated. A police call log show that at least 13 Dallas police units responding.
Doctors, nurses, epidemiologists and other workers waited outside the building. Some were crying, and others who had evacuated could be heard on the phone with their loved ones. When two women approached the evacuated group of doctors in white coats and nurses in scrubs who explained why they were outside, they responded with “again?” That was the sentiment among the nearly 100 of the county HHS workers gathered outside.
