De Javier tapped into the controversial succubus-chic aesthetic, repopularized by Gabbriette and Fox, with all models sporting bleached brows and looks consisting of leather, latex, and bondage.
The star power of the cast helped make this a blazing debut, as did De Javier’s personal identity and his mission. “I wanted to show off my Spanish roots and the queer and club culture of the country,” he said. “But I also wanted to fulfill my story of coming to America to get my bread as an immigrant.”
