Health P.E.I. has more than 3,500 appointments available for Islanders to get their COVID-19 vaccines during September. FileCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Health P.E.I. is advising residents that it has more than 3,500 available appointments for Islanders to get COVID-19 primary series vaccines and booster doses.

The province also noted there are around 300 appointments available for children five to 11 years old and more than 3,000 appointments for those 12 and older to get their primary series or booster doses of the vaccine. Children five to 11 years old are recommended to get a primary series of vaccines, followed by a booster dose six months after completing the primary series.
