“That’s the kind of society we want to live in in the province of Ontario,” Jones added. “We will make that personal choice and personal determination.” Moore was ranked 12th on Toronto Life’s list of the most influential citizens for “keeping COVID under control” in Ontario which has achieved one of the highest immunization rates in the world.

NDP Leader Peter Tabuns said Moore should provide the public with more information on how to handle the upcoming busy holiday social scene, particularly when consuming food or drinks.“We’re not calling for his resignation, but we are calling for him to clarify what the rules are if people are going to be eating and drinking,” Tabuns said.“Look around this room right now.
