On Sunday, as the dust settled from the chaos of the 2024 NHL Draft in Las Vegas, the Seattle Kraken got a bit of business done.Hayden is somewhat of an NHL veteran, with 249 career games under his belt so far. In eight seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, New Jersey Devils, Arizona Coyotes, Buffalo Sabres and Kraken, the 29-year-old has 37 points and a minus-30 rating.
In 2023-24, Hayden played only two NHL games, spending most of the season with the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the American Hockey League. He finished the season with 26 points in 65 regular-season games. He added 13 points in 18 playoff games, losing in the Calder Cup Final.Stezka is an AHL goaltender, debuting with Coachella Valley last season. In 27 games, the 27-year-old went 18-6-2 with a .924 save percentage and a 2.48 goals-against average. He did not play in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
