What should be built at Preston's former Tokyo Jo's and Odeon cinema site? Let us know
As smoke rose above Preston city centre and flames took hold of the former Odeon cinema and Tokyo Jo's nightclub, it soon became clear that a piece of history was soon going to disappear.
We want to know what you'd like to see built at the former Tokyo Jo's site - is there something that Preston is missing and could benefit from? Would you like to see the planned car park become a permanent fixture, or perhaps should the past be brought back to life and it once again become a cinema or nightclub?
If the plans are approved, the next steps would see the site levelled so that it matches the surrounding roads, including Old Cock Yard and Main Spirit Weind.
