Disney has dropped a brand new Haunted Mansion video for its upcoming supernatural comedy, featuring an all-star cast.
Haunted Mansion is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 28. It will also be debuting in the same month as other high-profile ensemble movies including Barbie, Oppenheimer, and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.“Inspired by the classic theme park attraction, Haunted Mansion is about a woman and her son who enlist a motley crew of so-called spiritual experts to help rid their home of supernatural squatters,” says the logline.
Haunted Mansion is directed by Justin Simien from a screenplay written by Katie Dippold . The film stars LaKeith Stanfield , Tiffany Haddish , Owen Wilson , Rosario Dawson , and Danny DeVito , Jamie Lee Curtis , and Jared Leto . Th movie is being produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich of Rideback, with Nick Reynolds and Tom Peitzman as executive producers. The titular theme park was first adapted into the 2003 film which starred Eddie Murphy as a workaholic realtor who, along with his family, gets trapped inside a mansion inhabited by ghosts.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
