‘Northern soul rock ‘n’ roll’ band drops first debut full-length album
Band members of Harvey King & The Grindstone are excited to finally release their debut full-length album after a few years delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The album, ‘Ever After’ is complete with 10 songs, reaching over 38 minutes in length.
The eight-piece band started working on songs for an album back in 2019, but had to cut their recording production short due to the pandemic. This year they saw an opportunity to record with Matthew Wiewel at Deadpan Studios and their album ‘Ever After’ is finally complete and out on most streaming services.
“There's different tempos, there's happy songs, there's a few sad songs or soul songs. So it's diverse,” King said. Sudburians might have also seen this band perform at some of the most recent summer events such as the Stack’s microbrew festival and the 50th Northern Lights Festival Boréal.
