Two dozen artists brought work to exhibit and sell, making it the biggest festival to date
The weather could not have been more perfect for artisans and visitors alike on Saturday for the Third Annual Festival of the Artists.
“I’m so pleased with the variety and talent that applied and attended the Harvest of Artists this year,” said Sherie Gladu, St. Joseph Township Community Projects Coordinator. “This is our third year and the show continues to grow.” Even though the calendar shows that fall is just around the corner, and some leaves have begun to change colour, the summer-like weather for the one-day event may have attributed to the steady flow of visitors stopping by the St. Joseph Township Centennial Grounds to check out what was new with the many artisans from across the region.“Hundreds of happy shoppers made the artists very happy as well,” Gladu said.
