Investigators searched the school Tuesday morning, but did not find any explosive devices.
A Tuesday morning bomb threat caused a Harrisburg city school to evacuate, authorities said.
Someone called the Capital Academy school around 7 a.m. and said a bomb would detonate around 9 a.m., according to Harrisburg spokesman Matt Maisel. The school called 911 around 7:30 a.m. and reported the threat.Harrisburg police, K-9s and the Dauphin County Sheriff’s Department began a search. However, no explosive devices were found, Maisel said.
Maisel said the property was cleared around 10:35 a.m. As of 11 a.m., police are helping students and staff return to the Capital Academy.
