One shot grazed a man's head, but no other injuries were reported.
A Harrisburg man pleaded guilty to one count of attempted homicide for a shooting that took place at the Camp Hill pool, the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.
Edwin Ruben Sosa Jimenez’s conviction stems from the June 2021 shooting at Camp Hill’s Christian Seibert Memorial Park pool, according to the DA’s office.Police previously said the victim did not know someone was following him from the city he went to the pool on June 28. At the park, Jimenez pulled up behind the victim, confronted him and fired six shots from a .40 caliber handgun.
One of the bullets hit the man, but prosecutors said it grazed his head, resulting in minor injury. He drove himself to Holy Spirit Hospital and was discharged later that night.Following Wednesday’s hearing, Jimenez will be sentenced on Sept. 13, according to the DA’s office.
