HOUSTON — For the first time, all four United States attorneys for Texas came together to raise awareness and combat domestic violence.
The latest numbers are sobering. According to TCFV, 216 Texans were killed by intimate partners across 64 counties in 2022.Women made up 179 of the victims while 37 of them were men. Nearly 130 of the women were killed by a gun. According to the report, 51% of the victims had taken steps to leave their abusers.
