THUNDER BAY — More work is expected to happen at the intersection of Memorial Avenue and the Harbour Expressway.
"They're going to be working on the curb and gutters and the sidewalk ramps and pole bases. Then, following that, the next week, they will be working overnight. This project is a leftover from last year when the Harbour Expressway and Fort William Road were getting the intersection updated. "Rebuilding the traffic signals at the intersection of Memorial Avenue and Harbour Expressway. The intersection is long overdue for renewal. So I think it's time to replace the poles, put a new traffic controller system and upgrade the pavement through the intersection.
