Los Angeles police reviewed surveillance footage that captures Hawaii native Hannah Kobayashi crossing the US-Mexico border into Mexico. The video shows her entering a pedestrian tunnel at San Ysidro, 200 km southeast of Los Angeles on Nov. 12, 2023, four days after flying from Hawaii to LA.
Police in Los Angeles have reviewed video surveillance from US Customs and Border Protection that shows Hannah Kobayashi , a Hawaii native, crossing into Mexico on foot. The footage was captured on November 12, four days after she flew from Hawaii to Los Angeles. Kobayashi, who was traveling alone with her luggage, appears unharmed and walked into a pedestrian tunnel at the San Ysidro point of entry, located 200 km southeast of Los Angeles.
Despite this information, there is no evidence that she was trafficked or was otherwise a victim of a crime. However, authorities urge her to contact her family or law enforcement to confirm her safety. Hannah’s sister, Sydni, previously mentioned that Kobayashi was on the same flight as her ex-boyfriend, but they had since broken up
