With Halo's reviews praising its new tone and atmosphere, season 2 is an unrivaled success for the show. Even after its recovery, however, Halo season 3 has not yet been confirmed. Morgan spoke to Screen Rant about the show's future, but he had little definitive evidence that another season is coming. While he knows that it received "great" viewership, Morgan has not yet had a call about season 3.
No, look, I know that the show was well received critically, and I know that we've had a very passionate and positive response from the fandom, and I know that it got some great numbers in terms of viewing figures, so that's it. I would love to come and do another season, especially because I feel like there was a changing of the guard for season 2 and the new showrunner, David Wiener, brought me on.
