Jordan Dumais, the Halifax Mooseheads’ all-time leading scorer, chose not to be present for his arraignment Tuesday on drunk-driving charges, letting a lawyer appear on his behalf.

News of the charges broke March 15, when the Mooseheads announced they and the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League had jointly suspended Dumais for five games.
