Halifax police say the victim was found in a parking lot at the Halifax Shopping Centre on Monday evening and died in hospital. Two people were later arrested nearby.

“Officers located a male youth who was taken to hospital where he died as a result of his injuries,” police said in a news release on Monday night. “Officers arrested two suspects at approximately 5:25 p.m. on a Halifax Transit Bus in the area of North St in Halifax.”Halifax Regional Police is investigating a homicide that occurred in Halifax this afternoon.
