Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Toronto that could produce nickel-sized hail on Wednesday.
Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued for some parts of Ontario, including Toronto and York, Durham and Peel Regions.
The weather agency says the line of severe thunderstorms is moving southeast at 50 kilometres an hour. Large hail can damage property and cause injury, warns Environment Canada, adding that lightning kills and injures Canadians every year.
