On housing affordability, Singh slammed the Liberals for having made it “tougher for you to afford a good place to call home … rewarding rich investors who buy up rental units and jack up the rent.” Or how about Singh’s vehement criticism of the Liberals over continued decrepit conditions at many First Nations?
Just what promise was the NDP boss referring to, though, when he prompted such howls? The Liberals’ failed eight-year-old pledge to end boil-water advisories on reserves by helping First Nations build water treatment plants. What do you care about who provides your care so long as it is effective, timely and available, regardless of your ability to pay?
