A gunman, 27, was arrested Sunday after two men heroically tackled him and held him to the ground when he allegedly fired shots in Hell’s Kitchen Sunday morning.
An unhinged man opened fire near a Hell’s Kitchen convenience store on Sunday morning – prompting two men to heroically tackle him to the ground and hold him until cops arrived, witnesses and police said.
Video from a convenience store on the block shows the suspected gunman just minutes before the incident, wearing a green Dennis Rodman basketball jersey, speaking with a group of shoppers and flashing them with a wide grin. Police spoke with one of the men who kept the alleged shooter on the ground until officers arrived at the scene.Minutes before the shooting, the suspect was seen inside a convenience store offering to buy items for a group of strangers, who rejected the offer.
