GTA welcomes first babies of 2023. Hospitals sent out welcome wishes and posted photos of the first newborns and their families on social media.
However, the timing did make baby Savreen one of the first to arrive in 2023 in the Greater Toronto Area.
“My birthday is Dec. 31, so we were wondering if she would be born on the 31st or the 1st. And then she was born just after midnight,” added the Brampton resident. The family explained that the name Savreen means patience, with the first two letters being a combination of both mom’s name Simarpreet and dad’s, Amandeep.Across Greater Toronto, hospitals sent out welcome wishes and some posted photos of the first babies and their families on social media.
