“We wanted to make sure everything was done right, because Centric House has both our names on it,” says Bowman.
A larger kitchen was one of the must-haves when Tamara Bowman and Michael Shaw renovated the 65 year-old Grosvenor Park home at 508 Lake Crescent. The sleek flat-front walnut cabinets are complemented by a 12-foot white quartz-topped island and a forest green glazed tile backsplash. Large windows were installed on the exterior wall to fill the space with natural light.
“We were going for a minimalist look, so we chose sleek flat-front walnut cabinets,” says Bowman. The appliances, including the Blomberg refrigerator, are integrated into the cabinetry. “We opened it up, adding a structural support beam,” says Shaw. The room’s vaulted ceiling received an attractive shiplap treatment. “It’s now a go-to comfort spot,” says Bowman.
The second floor of the Centric House was reconfigured to include a large primary suite, featuring a luxurious ensuite bath and adjoining personal office.
