The Memphis Grizzlies overpowered the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, with Jaren Jackson Jr. scoring a game-high 32 points. The Grizzlies extended their winning streak to four games, fueled by their strong bench performance and a dominant third quarter.

Jaren Jackson Jr. exploded for a game-high 32 points, leading the Memphis Grizzlies to a commanding 138-107 victory over the depleted Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. Jackson also contributed five rebounds and four assists as the Grizzlies extended their winning streak to four games. Ja Morant added 26 points, including a scorching 16 in the pivotal third quarter, while dishing out five assists and grabbing five rebounds.

Adding to Memphis's offensive firepower, rookie center Zach Edey put on a display in his hometown debut, recording a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Toronto, despite seven players reaching double figures in scoring, was unable to overcome the Grizzlies' dominance. Ja'Kobe Walter, Jamal Shead, and Ochai Agbaji each scored 14 points for the Raptors. Scottie Barnes, tasked with stepping up in the absence of several key players, struggled, managing only 11 points and nine assists. The Grizzlies, showcasing their potent bench unit, erased a six-point halftime deficit with an explosive third quarter. Their bench, ranked second in the NBA for scoring, proved too much for the Raptors to handle. Morant's floater with 9:08 remaining in the third quarter capped an 11-0 Grizzlies run that sealed the game's outcome. Morant's 16 points in the third quarter overshadowed the Raptors' starters, who managed just 14 points combined during that period. Barnes, hampered by an off night, didn't score his first field goal until 1:55 left in the second quarter, when a layup and foul led to three points. The absence of RJ Barrett (concussion protocol), Jakob Poeltl (right hip pointer), and Immanuel Quickley (scheduled rest) significantly depleted the Raptors' roster. The lack of Barrett and Poeltl's presence near the basket was particularly detrimental, as Toronto was outscored 60-46 in the paint. Both teams will face the Oklahoma City Thunder in their next matchup. Toronto will travel to OKC on Friday, while Memphis will host the Thunder the following night
