Police concern over planned 24-hour Greggs
In a letter to City of Westminster Council, a police representative said: "It is our belief that if granted, the application could undermine the licensing objectives in relation to the prevention of crime and disorder."
She added that hot food and drink were also more attractive than cold goods to drunk people who are more likely to cause anti-social behaviour.Greggs welcomed customers at the bakery's grand opening in Leicester Square on 18 July
