Meanwhile, those Schiano classes ranked 60th, 39th and 33rd, averaging 44th. Also worth noting: Schiano had around two weeks to recruit the 2020 class before signing day that year.
Ultimately, both coaches have instilled their cultures, much which started with Schiano, and have improved the rosters and trajectories of their programs. But one team will prove which program has recruited better, and which team is farther ahead ... by winning the game.
