But the Fox News host heard otherwise on Twitter after saying a fair or rigged election was 'unprovable' in the wake of Trump's arraignment.
Respondents on Twitter reminded him how evidence ― or the lack thereof ― works legally. They also noted that Trump’s lies generated recounts, and that the dozens of court challenges his team filed failed. It all showed that Trump and his supporters lacked anything admissible in court to support their claims.
Exactly, Greg: it’s UNPROVABLE. The burden of proof is on the claim. You can literally say, “the tooth fairy left my teeth but robbed my safe last night,” and we’d have to be like, “hey, Greg, you know what? That’s unprovable. We wish you had evidence.” And you’d be like yeah. You can't prove something didn't happen or doesn't exist . But you CAN say there's no evidence of something happening, and that's the case here.
