Jeff Pyle died Wednesday after a long battle with kidney cancer. He represented Armstrong, Indiana, and Butler counties.
In honor of former Pa. State Representative Jeff Pyle, who died Wednesday, Gov. Tom Wolf ordered the commonwealth flag on all commonwealth facilities, public buildings and grounds to fly at half-staff immediately.Pyle served in the state House of Representatives from 2005 to 2021, representing the 60th District, which covers municipalities in Armstrong, Butler and Indiana counties.
He chaired the House Gaming Oversight Committee and led the second amendment caucus and coal caucus for 10 years with each organization,Additionally, he authored legislation on provisions regarding emergency personnel in operating underground mines, along with regulating unmanned aircraft for safety and privacy, and providing veterans with a special designation on their driver’s licenses.
