Gov. Katie Hobbs celebrated Elizabeth White of Mrs. White's Golden Rule Cafe on her 100th birthday for a lifetime of service to the Phoenix community.
Elizabeth White, the owner of Mrs. White's Golden Rule Cafe, received a commendation from Gov. Hobbs on Tuesday, Feb. 21, shortly after celebrating her 100th birthday. The Governor's letter recognized"Elizabeth J. White for her achievements to the State of Arizona and the Unites States of America. Arizona is fortunate to have you as a resident of the great state."when she started serving home-cooked soul food.
"I'm just so thankful, I just can't tell it all. You know what they say when you've done so much for me, I can't tell it all?
