A new National Republican Congressional Committee video takes shots at Democrats over the migrant situation in New York City, calling it an “unmitigated crisis.”
The video was posted today and is just over a minute long. It points out the influx of illegal immigrants, showing scenes from the border but also from New York streets.
The video also attacks Mayor Eric Adams for cutting back on overtime pay for the police, fire, sanitation and corrections departments in order to pay for the immigrants, along with using public schools to house them. The city has seen more than 100,000 migrants over the past year, and Mr. Adams has called on the federal government for more help. The mayor has warned that the number of migrants “will destroy New York City” if left alone.
